Membership Eligibility
PAMOJA is open to any individual of any race or ethnic background with a strong interest in promoting fair and accurate coverage of news. Our members are drawn from those involved in fields of communications including journalism, freelance writing, television, radio, newspapers, newsletters, public relations/affairs, poetry, fiction writing and non-fiction writing.
Instructors and teachers of Journalists who before taking up that work were members of any Journalists Association deemed by the board of directors to confer upon its members the status of journalists, provided such persons are working for a bona fide educational institution, are also accepted as members.
All applications for membership should be submitted to the Secretary-General.
PAMOJA Committee will consider each application for membership. The applicant will be notified as soon as possible on whether his/her application has been accepted. The committee is under no obligation to give reasons for the rejection of application.
After an application for membership has been accepted, the successful applicant will be required to pay membership fees determined by PAMOJA committee. Only after the fee has been paid will a person be able to exercise his/her membership rights and responsibilities.

Every member of the association shall have a right to:
- Participate in the Association activities.
- Participate fully in the decision making during the sitting of the General Assembly.
Obligations
Every member of the association is obliged to:
- respect and further objectives of the association as set out in
Article 2
- Participate fully in the activities of PAMOJA
- Accept and comply with all rules and regulations of the PAMOJA
