ITALY Vintage Wall Crucifix 60s–80s Art

This is an Italian vintage wall crucifix, believed to date from the 1960s–1980s.
Although it features a religious motif, the design is restrained and understated,
allowing it to function not only as a devotional object but also as an interior art piece. The contrast between the black and silver tones gives it a calm, architectural presence.

The corpus (figure of Christ) appears to be made of a brass or bronze alloy and shows natural patina and surface aging consistent with its age.
These characteristics are not damage, but authentic signs of time that enhance the character of the piece.

This type of crucifix was originally created for private homes in Italy.
While such items were once common, examples that have survived in good condition are becoming increasingly rare.

Country of origin: Italy
Estimated period: 1960s–1980s
Materials: Mixed metal (likely brass/bronze for the corpus)
Condition: Vintage condition with age-related wear and patina
